Performance: "Mochi-Print Yatai" by ELSHOPO
Silkscreen on mochi (Japanese rice cake), shoyu butter.
"Elshopo (http://www.elshopo.com), the silkscreen laboratory, will run
a Japanese ambulant stall on the 10th of November at Staalplaat. Our
chief-cooks will serve silkreened shoyu butter mochis that night.
This will be the occasion to present the new "Machine Sérigraphiante"
(Silksreen Machine Box). Between art object and personal production
device, this special series of 15 handmade pieces was designed in
collaboration with our friend Haruki (http://www.loworks.org) connected with
Skype from his office in Fukuoka, Japan." (Elshopo)
