Wow.. It's been a while since the last update. Apologies to everyone who has been waiting for packages, it's been an insane month here. All pending orders have been packed up and sent out, so expect to see your goods soon. If there's a problem, send me an e-mail and I'll do what I can to resolve it. I've had to enlist a few people to help out with the label, but that should mean better service on the mailorder end. Thanks for your patience..

With that out of the way, and before I list out all the new goodies, I'd like to mention that there's a HIVE MIND double LP out soon on Troniks, available only via pre-order. Additionally, NO FUN FEST 2005 was an awesome time, and congratulations to Carlos Giffoni and the rest of No Fun Productions for pulling it off for a second year in a row. It was great to meet a lot of you out in NY and hope to see you again soon!

ch-95, 300 copies - one side each from myself and workbench (aka Mike Bernstein of Double Leopards / Religious Knives). another document in our ongoing series of collaborations, and the first appearance for both of us on vinyl. full-color paste-on covers drawn by Maya Miller.

LHD - Triple Void LP, $20
ch-101, 109 copies - originally available as a double A sided record (identical sides), this edition of 27 has had one side painted and recut with a remix of the original material. the A side is gross, heavy and downright nasty, but the B side takes all that and condenses it into sick sewer noise. also with cover art and painted sleeve. extra-special thanks to our friends at GLS for helping with this release!

Wooden Wand & the Vanishing Voice - Supplication Jam 3"CDr, $7
ch-56, 141 copies - one twenty minute piece recorded during their recent tour. apparently a show got cancelled but they decided to record anyway. a heavy folk-fog session with all sorts of instruments and clatter.

Eyes and Arms of Smoke - Birthing Timbers 3"CDr, $7
ch-57, 122 copies - this four-piece drone/ambient/folk band contains two members of Hair Police doing something vastly different from their work in that band. lulling ambient acoustic sounds creep around for a meditative, somewhat calming listen.

Pengo - Beaten Back to Infancy 3"CDr, $7
ch-64, 133 copies - one long, throbbing mess of melting psychedelia from this rochester, ny band of scum-hippies. thick and suffocating like swallowing the honey-sweet motor oil - completely unrelenting in its subtle beauty.

Connelly - Failing Lights vol. 1 3"CDr, $7
ch-83, 113 copies - organ grinding from this psychotic growler. a mess of gross, heavy tones. rumbling and rolling through two tracks of mutant wind-hazed drone. a stagnant fog descending and making everything stand still. this is the first in a series of three which were somehow released in backwards order making the puzzle all the more confusing.

Sleeping with the Earth - Waiting 3"CDr, $7
ch-96, 96 copies - two studio tracks and one live recording from this relatively unknown & underappreciated power electronics/death industrial project. i first heard his work in 1999 and was floored. i recently played a few stops on his midwest tour and heard some of this newer material in person - fantastic! noise, rhythms, vocals & a strange sense of romanticism.. what more do you need?

Bloodyminded - Live: Behind the Green Door 3"CDr, $7
ch-98, 98 copies - live document of my favorite band at my favorite venue, my loft! synth/feedback attack complete with rowdy crowd action. in addition to bloodyminded's usual assault you get to hear various michigan maniacs shouting lyrics, knocking things over and breaking bottles in the background. not to be missed! a co-release with BloodLust!

Bloodyminded - Gift Givers CD, $12
B!45, 1000 copies - Bloodyminded have truly outdone themselves with this new release. Following in the heavily layered footsteps of True Crime but including "blast" tracks like those found on Trophy, the band have found a perfect balance between drawn-out, creepy pieces and short attacks of aggression. This release is themed around self-destructive behaviour and if you've caught them live recently you know just how intense these newer songs are. Some live versions of these songs appear on the newly-released 3" on Chondritic Sound.
