A surreal and nightmare-ish journey into the mind of a Victorian serial killer - from one of the pioneers of dark ambient music.

Mary Ann Cotton was possibly Britain's greatest female mass murderer. Poisoning upwards of 20 of her own children and partners with arsenic...
She was arrested, tried and hanged in 1873.
Attrition's Martin Bowes is the descendant of the arresting officer....Police Sergeant Tom McCutcheon...

The album features guest vocals and violin from long time Attrition fan Emilie Autumn,
and also features Ned Kirby of Stromkern, Erica Mulkey of Unwoman and Rasputina, Laurie Reade of High Blue Star and Pigface,
and Ute Mansell of Urban Sax

oh, mal wieder ein neues album.
mal gucken, wie es klingt.

irgendwie hab ich bei der band den überblick verloren.
project hat vor nicht langer zeit
ältere sachen wieder neu aufgelegt,
die waren ziemlich gut.
die sachen aus den jahren dazwischen
kriegt man meist hinterhergeschmissen,
aber das heisst ja nichts.
