Broken Diode:
- Broken Diode was brought to life beginning of 2006 in Dresden, Germany. A tape has been released in April and is still available (lim. 50). Further releases to come later this year Past performances have included gigs with Fire In The Head + Burn Ward in Dresden and Berlin at the Consumer Electronics 7 and a solo gig including Thembi Soddell & Anthea Caddy.

Mirko Uhlig:
Cricket in the field of drones - born: June 1981 in Aachen - wearing a straw hat with a head on fire. Mirko Uhlig first appeared 2004 with his surreal collage project Aalfang Mit Pferdekopf which slowly moved towards the humming of the moon. In 2006 Uhlig decided to release this now much lower and serene music under a less distracting and delusive name. The last known release as Aalfang Mit Pferdekopf was the 7" "Fragment 36" on the Drone Records label; the first as Mirko Uhlig the springtune "VIVMMI" on Ex Ovo. At the moment Mirko's music is a maybe-equivalent to a calm dusk in midsummer or the smell of burning wood in a clear and cold December. Beside Aalfang Mit Pferdekopf, his two labels and the breeding of little organic'n'magical artefacts in the form of starfishes Mirko runs the electretrokrautberlinschooltribute project Suneaters together with Tobias Fischer; in general Uhlig is always involved in something...or someone.

Dronæment:
The name says it all with one of Drone-music's finest and most renowned artists. Right from his first compositions, Marcus Obst, the man behind Dronæment, has been welcomed with open ears for his idiosyncratic mix of finely woven textures and solemn field recordings. A string of excellent releases ensued, on all of the finest household names: Drone Records, Mystery Sea, Taalem, EE Tapes and many more. After the setting up of his own label, Field Muzick, and his brilliant "Fields 1" album, Marcus took a little time off from recording, dedicating himself to his newly formed outfit and absorbing the world of sounds around him.

Balog:
Balog is Eric Heyde, born 1978 in Dresden. A short chronological outline: 1995 -- teenage frivolity of experimental sound-project D.O.G. with Sten Beetz. 1996 -- synth-experiments till total self-oscillation as Salvia Divinorum with Sten Beetz. 1997 -- member of the Odyssee 25 Kunstgruppe: performance, sound installations and pictures in the style of automatical writing. Balog in the throes. 1998 -- Balog delivered as brain-birth. Since 2000 collaborations with HighElecSin/Stab2, Mechlabor/ Experimentelles Radio, SARDH, Aalfang Mit Pferdekopf/Mirko Uhlig, P./Pete Pester...

Monostabil:

Born in the year 1978 in Dresden (Germany), 1994 he found the way to the electronic Music. Since then searched monostabil for the new electronic sound. Steffen Glaeser is founder of the street music project "Berlin Analog" and the art-noize project "king zero" with Felix Claßen and Lukas Lonski. Since 2000 - 2001 narrow collaborations with BALOG (Eric Heyde, Dresden) and Tex`N`Terok (Daniel Matz, Berlin)

Tholen:
Tholen is one of the branches that emerged from a chaostree named Rostiges Riesenrad. Since Rostiges Riesenrad is a very impulsive expression of many unpopular styles, Eisen decided to split it up into single projects to get a line into the releases. Up to now there are namely: Tholen (Dark Ambient), Weerhaak (Martial Industrial), Legion Kry (Noise), Rostiges Riesenrad (Experimental), Ultor (Black Metal) and Sinistra (Funeral Doom). "I am proud to know my products free of any ideology, except for the one to express myself." With his relocation from Berlin to Schöneiche Eisen began to record comedy radio plays and videos with his fellow friends. Summerizing everything under the banner of the mighty Grottenvolk, which consists of 7 friends, 4 of them performing music and Comedy on stage actively, Eisen himself and friends created a mirror for skewed just-human-bahavior. Ever searching for a place outside of everything that has been, he began to make music on his own. Tracking sick songs, torturing instruments in the Black Metal endevour Wintertod and still recording radio plays with Bernhard L. and Christof R. from Grottenvolk. After moving to Hannover for one year the sickest of all tunes were summerized under Rostiges Riesenrad, which devolped into a anarchistic, chaotic and experimental bastard of Ambient, Industrial and Noise. Eisen's great affectation to really extreme Metal leaded to the projects Ultor and Sinistra which will also be continued in due time. In 2004 Grottenvolk Rundfunk was founded, his small label and distro for dedicated artists and own works. The first real teamwork took place here in Mannheim with a friend, recording a session for Legion Kry. Just finished the monumental work on Tholen "Sternklang", one 70-minutes-song, a journey through deepest Space, out on Cyclic Law Recordsin late 2006.

EX OVO ORCHESTRA:
Das "Ex Ovo Orchestra" ist keine feste Band sondern ein Improvisationsprojekt, welches sich speziell und zum ersten (womöglich gleichzeitig auch letzten) Mal für das Konzert im AZ Conni zusammenfinden wird. Der akustische Rahmen ist durch die musikalische Ausrichtung des Ex Ovo Labels gegeben (Drones music / dulcet atmospheres). Zu welchen tatsächlichen Ergebnissen das Kollektiv an dem besagten Abend kommen wird steht noch in den Sternen. Konkrete Absprachen zum Verlauf und Timing werden nicht abgehalten. Das "Ex Ovo Orchestra" besteht aus Mirko Uhlig (solo/Aalfang Mit Pferdekopf/Suneaters/Ex Ovo-Gründer), Tobias Fischer (Feu Follet/Suneaters/Ex Ovo-Gründer),Marcus Obst (solo/Dronæment), Eric Heyde (Balog/Sardh), Steffen Glaeser (Monostabil), Eisen (Tholen/Rostiges Riesenrad/Ultor)
