Ein junges französisches Label präsentiert seine Arbeit erstmalig in Köln: SILLONS aus Lyon. Das Label versteht sich als eine Plattform für Künstler, die innovativ an der Schnittstelle zwischen Clubsound, elektronischer Avantgarde und Bildbearbeitung laborieren. Genau dies tun die Acts des heutigen Abends, weshalb sich das Publikum auf einen vielseitigen und spannenden Konzertreigen freuen darf.

ANOTRET. is a one-man' s work: Ulrich T. ESTREICH.
He blends voice, text and sound mater ial to create a very personal and int imate world, a cross between urban, popular and experimental music.
A world where delicate melodies, organic pads, slow beats, whispered existential lyrics meet.
A muffled room where one should enter s ilently and barefoot .
Ulrich T. ESTREICH i s also one-half of FERRY.ESTREICH. Born in 2005 with David Pierre Ferry (aka INSEKTRAUMA) the duet focuses on l ive product ion, invi ting the audience to enter their world, l ike diving in a deep troubled sea made of noi sy, harsh, hol low, dark or soft sound mater i al, dragged from some tortured machines.
Sometimes suffocat ing and sometimes almost silent, covered with whispered words, the experience is always intense.
Both of them founded the label S ILLONS in spr ing 2005 to release their mus ic and promote others ar ti st s' works, with an emphasi s put on innovative, demanding and sensi tive music.
ANOTRET. also works wi th video artis t Alexis B and they created together two vi sual and sound pieces, Untitled #1 and Light Twisted Samba that were per formed several t imes , mainly in a rt center and g aller ies. These pieces melt l ive video mix and l ive mus ic mix together to reveal new stories f rom the exis ting material they use, stor ies made o f dreams and nf luenced by express ionism and avant-garde.

F A B l e was born in winter 2003 as FAB.io's solo project. He meets VJ Alexis B. and jazz double bass player Estelle AMSELLEM one year after during his first performance in LYON [Fr]. Since that day, 3some FABle gathers their many music influences into an unique style.
LANDMARK: Hybrid
TRADMARK: To pick and choose from a broad range of music styles, not to stick to any electronic genre in particular.
INFLUENCES: Explores the overlapping of different origins through atmospheric, mental, experimental and fluid tunes.
MANUFACTURING: Entirely produced via laptop, guitars, keyboards, double bass and vocal moods.
UNIVERSE: Heterogeneous, rich, detailed and powerfull.
OBSERVATIONS: With the purpose to foil the coldness and easyness led to the electronic music creation cliché, F A B l e strives to juggle with the machine's universe to bring the result face to face with the hot and charismatic double bass's acoustic. The project consist of draging the human side out of a composition and express it through the bow voice and via a stanging performed lanscape. The double bass improvision, thus, leads the pre - established musical structure and the visual account astray to make them evolve towards more uncertainty, and they both finally need to adapt themselves to it.

IN-SEKTRAUMA
biography
An electronic microcell sound, a purged and refined dynamic, some damaged minimal throbs. IN-SEKTRAUMA's universe coldly turns down the symetrical alchemy of emotions.
1998 moves to Switzerland, discovers other ways of expression and decides to work alone, after spending several years as a member of noise and emocore bands.
2000 back to France, settles in Grenoble at the Brize Glace. Several important meeting and collaborations.
2002 moves to Lyon et starts working on what would become IN-SEKTRAUMA.
2005 conclusive encounter with Ulrich T. Estreich with whom will start SillonS label and FERRY.ESTREICH duet.
